Polly Pekapeka visits Lily and Jack

April 4, 2022 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

Polly Pekapeka (our Manu | Bird of the Year 2021) is looking for adventure, so she’s off visiting KCCers around Aotearoa – and beyond. Follow all her adventures out and about in nature HERE.

In March 2022, Polly went to stay with Lily (age 7) and Jack (age 10) in Christchurch. Here’s what they got up to together…

Lily made Polly her own cave!
Lily’s letter to Polly:
“Dear Polly Pekapeka,
You are a very nice bat and a very nice girl. You are a good friend. I made you a  cave to sleep in. You are fluffy, cute and fuzzy.
We love you Polly Pekapeka.
From Lily xoxo”
