Polly Pekapeka visits Lili

June 27, 2022 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

Polly Pekapeka (our Manu | Bird of the Year 2021) is looking for adventure, so she’s off visiting KCCers around Aotearoa – and beyond. Follow all her adventures out and about in nature HERE.

In June 2022, Polly went to stay with Lili (age 9) in Blenheim. Here’s what they got up to together…

“We were so happy to finally meet Polly. She loved our house and even got married to a goat teddy called Guck!”

“She read books with me, participated in art projects, did some planting, and came on an epic bike ride to Poll(y)ard Park! She visited the tallest trees and met some of the monarch butterflies hibernating on a special tree.”

“Polly and Guck want to meet at Zealandia soon some time. Having Polly here was brilliant experience. Our whole whanau loves Polly Pekapeka!”

What an awesome adventure! Thanks, Lili, for having Polly to visit.
