Polly Pekapeka visits Finlay

Polly Pekapeka (our Manu | Bird of the Year 2021) is looking for adventure, so she’s off visiting KCCers around Aotearoa – and beyond. Follow all her adventures out and about in nature HERE.

In August 2022, Polly went to stay with Finlay (age 6) in Upper Hutt. Here’s what they got up to together…

She came along to school, where she helped Fin explain what the KCC is and what it’s members like to do, like looking after animals and the environment.
She also went along to keas to explain as well and she joined in with the activities.
On the weekend, she went to the park to help catch Pokémon. Here she is with Squirtle and others! 
She also helped us make home made pizza for dinner. She especially enjoyed cutting the red onion! 

 Great adventure Fin!
