Polly Pekapeka visits Kezia and Jasper

June 4, 2024 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

Polly Pekapeka (our KCC Mascot) is looking for adventure, so she’s off visiting KCCers around Aotearoa – and beyond. Follow all her adventures out and about in nature HERE.

In May 2024, Polly visited Kezia (age 11) and Jasper (age 8) in Lower Hutt. Here’s what they got up to together…

Polly went with us to Pākuratahi Forest, where bats have recently been found again. She looked out for her cousins and any signs of Dactylanthus. She didn’t spot either, but had great fun along the way. She found lots of big hollow old trees that looked good for roosting in.
