Kākā by Calexico (age 6). He says “This is a kaka that i drew. I liked drawing the picture and finding out what it looked like by looking at a real picture of one, and it was real fun finding out how to do it and what to do.”
The Bottlenose dolphin is Louie’s favourite animal “because they like to play, hang out and help.” He hasn’t seen one in real life yet, but looks forward to doing so in the future.
Sam created this fish from paper. He sent in the following explanation: “This shows you what can happen to a real fish if it gets plastic in its mouth. Fish with lots of plastic in them cant eat any food and they will probably die.”
