Eco-friendly paper glue – plastic free

June 26, 2019 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

Here is an easy glue recipe that you can make to stick together your paper projects. It’s more sustainable that using PVA and gluestick, as it contains no plastic.

Recipe:

1 cup flour

2 cups water

1 teaspoon of salt to prevent mold.

Extra tip:

To make a thick paste, you might want to warm it up a little in the microwave (make sure you put it in a microwave safe container first).

For tikanga reasons: make sure you get a new packet of flour for making this glue. Keep the packet separate from your cooking flour.
