Paora visits Maia in Kirikiriroa | Hamilton

December 3, 2025 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

Maia’s story:

I took Paora on three outings.  First, he came to my school ‘Working Bee’, and helped everyone tidy the school grounds. Then, my dad and I took him to an exhibition at our local museum.

Paora and I made a bat-shaped paper plane together!

Lastly, we took Paora to a wetland reserve with a big ‘Jurassic Forest’. Paora saw bat monitoring boxes in the trees!

Paora is cute, and we had fun together.
