Jessica (age 5) sent in this picture and explanation: Here is a kākāpō family. They can climb trees with their beaks even though they don’t fly. One kākāpō has a nest in the tree. There is some supplejack and some Matariki stars in the sky.
The shells, sand, mangroves, driftwood, crab etc. are all from the Kaipara Harbour where we live. By Sam.
