Dunedin branch night time adventure!

November 3, 2022 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

After a warm hot chocolate on the side of the road, they slowly walked up the Nicols Creek track to the glow worm colony. It took a few minutes for their eyes to adjust, but when they did, the kids (and adults!) were amazed. Glow worms everywhere! It was like looking at stars except they were not in the sky but along the rocks hidden among the vegetation. Thanks to Luca who managed to take this amazing photo despite the complete darkness.
