Baby Wētā and a Praying Mantis egg

Today I found a baby wētā in my backyard. It was very jumpy. I liked playing with it. Then, I found a praying mantis egg. I really like praying mantises so it was very interesting to find an egg. I gently put it in a jar so it would be protected.
