Nature Art

April 7, 2020 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

By Marcus (aged 8) and Meika (aged 7)

During the Lockdown, we decided to get creative and make some nature art. We went for a walk up the road and collected leaves, twigs, moss and anything off the ground that we thought would look neat in a picture.

When we got home we created all kinds of fun pictures. Marcus made a big burger, we both did a self portrait,  and we even made some cool bugs. It was a lot of fun!

We are brother and sister who live in Rai Valley.

Rai Valley is a small town at the top of the South Island, half way between Blenheim and Nelson.

We love getting outdoors and doing things in nature. Marcus's favorite NZ native is the kākāpō and Meika's is the tūī.
