Problems for our wildlife

July 6, 2018 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

We have amazing wildlife here in New Zealand, but our wildlife is getting smaller everyday. We aren’t trying hard enough to help our wildlife – animals such as tūī , kiwi, kererū, tuatara and wētā. These animals are endangered and are very rare. The reason is pollution, and we haven’t been recycling so there is rubbish. Ways to help are using reusable bags, and you can wash your car on rocks otherwise chemicals will spread. Predators to these amazing animals are cats, dogs, and other animals. If you go for a walk in the bush and find some rubbish pick it up even if it’s not yours.
