Yukuan’s Fossil Story

February 13, 2023 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

When we were on holiday in Kaikoura, we went to seal beach to see some seals (there is one in the fourth picture) when we were just going to walk back to the carpark we saw a 45 cm long shell fossil in the rock and some other smaller ones near it (seems this was a coastline before) we also saw some fragments of shell fossil near it.
