Why NZ Falcon are the best

November 29, 2020 Posted by Kiwi Conservation Club

Today I am going to be talking about why I think the New Zealand Falcon are the best. I believe that the New Zealand Falcon are the best because they are very intelligent and fast. The Māori name for the Falcon is Kārearea.

The New Zealand Falcon is the only Falcon in New Zealand.

Around 5000 to 3000 breeding pairs are remaining. The New Zealand Falcon’s habitat is heavy bush, they nest there too.

Some fossils have been found where they have been caught nesting.

The New Zealand Falcon is one of three native birds of prey to New Zealand.

Do you wonder about the Falcon? I do because they are like the Haast Eagle.
