CANCELLED A Winter Walk to the Cascades

CANCELLED DUE TO LEVEL 3 RESTRICTIONS IN AUCKLAND
A chance for children and their families to join us for a guided walk through lush coastal forest to Waiheke’s waterfalls. We’ll be on the hunt for wonderful native epiphytes – exploring plants that grow on other plants.
Assemble at the Whakanewha Sculpture Park (where the dotteril sculpture stands).
The walk follows the well-marked Nikau Track, 2.5km, approx. 1.5-2 hours of walking. Some hills.

Bring wet weather gear & good footwear, water & some lunch + koha
