South Auckland Overnight Camp

This is an opportunity for our KCC families to enjoy a weekend of activities and experience a night in the outdoors.

The camp, owned by Girl Guides New Zealand, is on 10 acres of coastal land with native trees, bush walks and a boardwalk over a wetland with access to the beach.

Accommodation options Camping in your own tent Bunkroom that sleeps 22 people Day visitor (Saturday and/or Sunday) On Saturday you may arrive any time from 9am to put up your tent or settle into the bunkroom in time for the first activity at 10:30am. The final activity is expected to finish about 1:30pm on Sunday.

We will have full use of the kitchen including oven, fridge, toaster and kitchen utensils.

The overnight camp fee includes dinner on Saturday night, with a vegetarian option, make your own filled rolls for lunch on Sunday and hot drinks during the weekend.

You will need to bring your own lunch for Saturday, breakfast for Sunday, snacks, fresh fruit and any other food for special dietary requirements.

Day visitors will need to bring their own lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. Camping families will need to provide their own tent.

KCC South Auckland holds a 5 person tent that may be borrowed for this camp. Another 5 person tent is available from the Waikato branch of KCC and the North Shore branch has a 2 person tent. Let us know if you wish to borrow any of these tents.
