Interested in science and biology? Does being a kiwi researcher interest you?
So what does a kiwi researcher do? Dr Isabel Castro and her research group study the North Island Brown Kiwi.
This exciting after-school event, lead by Isabel, will give you the chance to see what sort of things they study.
- Learn how kiwi are tracked using radio transmitters – you might even get to meet Eko the kiwi detection dog in training!
- Why studying kiwi poo is useful.
- How they study the behaviour of kiwis in the wild.
Meet in the Ecology Department – Aghort Sciences Building, Palmerston North Campus, Massey University.
