Wild Eyes is a new website launching in 2016 offering nature missions for NZ kids. The website is being developed with support from NZ On Air’s Digital Media Fund and MBIE’s Nation of Curious Minds Fund.
Come along and try out one of the Wild Eyes activities! Join us for a day at stunning Tiritiri Matangi wildlife sanctuary, including a boat trip to the island, a guided walk up Wattle Track and make your own Bird Feeder!
Led by NZ avian ecologist Josie Galbraith and the team at Tiritiri Matangi, you’ll hear from Josie about the ecological impact of bird feeding and how to feed birds responsibly; and help us collect photos for the Wild Eyes website in the process.
This free opportunity is limited to 15 participants between 8-12 years old on a first-in-first serve basis. This is a guided day out for children. We have limited space for up to 5 adults to join us at subsidised ticket prices of $35 each.
To join this event, please bring an adult who is responsible for you!
