CANCELLED What's living in the water?

CANCELLED… the weather is too rubbish!

The Native Forest Restoration Trust is planting trees at Ed Hillary Hope Reserve. Riparian planting is important for maintaining water quality and biodiversity, so let’s go and see what’s living in the stream.

Directions:
To get to the reserve, head towards Raglan on State Highway 23. After about 24 km, turn left onto Waitetuna Valley Rd, then turn left onto Old Mountain Road. The reserve is about 4 km down the road on the left. The alternative route via Te Pahu Rd is not recommended. There’s no cell coverage on Old Mountain Rd at the Reserve.

Cancellation:
If the weather is looking very bad the call will be made to cancel KCC stream sampling by 2pm Friday 8th.

What To Bring:
Bring morning tea and a change of clothes. If you are keen to help out with tree planting too then bring a spade and some gloves.

To join this event, please bring an adult who is responsible for you!
